Hello! My name is Kayla Fournier and I am the proud owner of Halo Beauty Co. LLC! I am a Christian, mom, wife, business owner, wedding enthusiast, and lover of all things beauty. My passion for hairstyling came early on as a young child playing "Beauty Salon" with my moms old work papers. I was very busy as I created a full schedule for my first day at "Fix Your Do" hairsalon. I spent majority of my childhood on the field throwing a big yellow ball at another person. Although I ended my collegite softball career early, I immediately jumpstarted another career. I enrolled in a SC beauty school in 2013. Upon completion, I worked in Florence, SC for a short period of time, then to Laurinburg, NC , and eventually planted my feet in Pinehurst, NC!
I noticed throughout my salon changes, what I was searching for, I wasn't receiving. I worked diligently seeking out educators across the globe to grow my knowledge in the industry and extend a hand to fellow stylist like me who just felt "stuck". In 2020, I decided it was time to step up and be the mentor I didn't have. I finally accepted my role of leadership and started planning. After months of purchasing salon equipment, speaking with contractors and vendors, I realized I didn't have a name for this HUGE project.
I started to think of my story...
Throughout my life, I have never wavered from keeping my family part of my success. In the year 2000 tragedy struck which led to the death of my twin sister at only seven years old. As I reached new milestones and accomplishments, I carry a piece of my sisters memory in my heart, knowing that she continues to inspire and watch over me every step of the way. I strive to carry forward her legacy of strength, resilience, and compassion in all aspects of my business, making her a guiding presence in every success we achieve and every milestone we reach.
